Learn the skills and techniques you need to become a member of a lifeguard team.
Minimum age to take this class is 15.
1. Swim 300 yards continuously using the front crawl, breaststroke or a combination of both.
2. Tread water 2 minutes using legs only
3. In 1 minute and 40 seconds, swim 20 yards, retrieve 10lb brick and return to starting point.

Lifeguard and CPR certifications are valid for 2 years from the certification date.
You are required to attend all classes of your chosen course.
The American Red Cross Swimming and Water Safety program combines the best in swim instruction with a strong emphasis on drowning prevention and water safety. Learn how to teach people of all ages and skill levels and encourage healthy, lifelong recreational habits while keeping families safe. Minimum age to take this class is 16.
