Atlanta Swim Academy Health and Safety Precautions

Health Precaution Expectations of Swim Families:

  • Masks are optional. Wear a mask based on your personal preference, informed by your personal level of risk - per the CDC Mask Guidelines updated February 2022
  • Stay home if you feel unwell
  • Stay home if you have come into close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or if you have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days

Health Precaution Expectations of our Staff:

  • All deck and non-water staff wear masks
  • Masks and shields are optional for our staff and instructors while our community level remains either "low" or "medium" per the CDC Mask Guidelines updated February 2022
  • Wash hands and sanitize hands
  • All staff agree to responsibly maintain CDC guidelines outside of ASA
  • Staff to stay home if they feel unwell
  • Staff to stay home if they have come into contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 or if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

Facility Health Precautions:

  • Entrance and Exits altered to allow for safe social distancing traffic flow
  • Pool ventilation is maintained to provide optimal circulation
  • Hand sanitizer is readily available throughout the facility
  • Facility sanitized continuously

Swim Lesson Health Precautions:

  • All Group Swim Lessons now 4:1 ratio
  • Instructors wear face shields

Missing Classes Due to COVID-19

  • If you feel sick or have experienced fever, cough, or shortness of breath, or if you have traveled outside the U.S. in the last 14 days, please stay home. Your swimmer will receive free makeup lessons for the misses- up to two makeups per month.
